Environment
JMBS recognizes youth as a driving force in advancing environmental sustainability and shaping a more responsible future. Our approach focuses on equipping young people with practical knowledge, critical thinking, and opportunities for meaningful engagement in environmental actions. By supporting youth-led initiatives, promoting behavioral change, and fostering a sense of ownership towards natural resources, we aim to nurture a generation that actively contributes to environmental protection. We emphasize building awareness among young individuals about the links between daily human activities and environmental outcomes, encouraging informed and sustainable choices. Key concerns such as plastic pollution, ineffective waste handling, climate change impacts, declining natural resources, and loss of biodiversity remain central to our efforts. In partnership with Lalitpur Metropolitan City, ward offices, youth groups, women’s collectives, and other aligned organizations, we work to strengthen youth participation while enhancing overall environmental understanding and promoting long-term, community-driven solutions.
